New Book!

I am so happy to say that I finished my book. After a long time of reading it, I finally got into it. I read it over spring break from page 100-380 in 2 days. I was kind of surprised cause normally I don't spend my time reading. I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars. It was so powering that I cried at the end. It was really cool to see how she got out and got to see her family. I also loved the way she wrote, her language was amazing and she used so many pieces of figurative language. Most of the time you would think that people would run if they got kidnapped but surprisingly that didn't happen and I was so shocked. Also after reading I watched many videos of her giving speeches and it was crazy I couldn't get up and do that in front of people.

I was watching TV and saw the movie trailer for the book Heaven is for Real.  Just by watching the trailer moved me to want to read it. I just started yesterday and I'm not that far into but it is so cute! What I know so far is there is a little boy named Colton and Cassie. They are very young and not in school yet. They like each other which is surprising because most brother and sisters get in fights. This is all that I know so far but I'm sure if you watch this trailer that you will be moved to read the book.

  2. I've been reading the same book since first tri. I didn't readsecond tri, but my book is still short enough to finish in a week if you really tried. It took me a while to get into my book also, even my friends said the beginning was boring. :P

  3. I’ve always wanted to read a memoir about someone’s life, especially of someone that experienced such tragedy. Elizabeth Smart’s story seems so interesting, and I think reading a book about it would expand my usual genre. I also think that The Heaven Is For Real book and movie look good, as the movie is based on a true story (which is always a plus!).

  8. Judging by your summary and other people's comments, the book sounds very good. Adding the trailer also added to that. I plan on reading it soon. Thanks!

  10. I've also seen the trailer for heaven is for real and I've wanted to read it since then, it seems like a very moving book. The only problem is I can't find an actual copy unless I go on the internet to buy it. The problem with buying stuff online is that I don’t get it for a week to a month after I order it. My question to you is, do you know anywhere that I can go and buy it to start reading right away?
